this was Paddle4Tomorrow's trip with the Chicago Comets ,a sight impaired "beep ball" team that will inspire any person with their ferocity on the field. this trip was an awesome day filled with old friends, some new ones and my family as well. being there when a person with a severe sight issue, or complete blindness, gets in a kayak and starts to paddle is wonderful. the freedom of the water and the wind really lifts the spirit. one of P4T's sayings is " using our silly plastic boats to inspire awesomeness" , as long as i have strength to paddle i hope to be able to use our little fleet to do the same !
